I was wondering if any of the xs750 triple clamps fit the xs650's and if so what years. Im asking because you can find a lot more xs750 triple clamps then 650's...

Not exactly sure on the year of my frame, its at home and I forgot off hand. I found a hard tailed frame a while back for a bobber projects and im looking to get moving forward once again.

To use the XS750/850 clamps you would need to swap the stem with one from an XS650. The XS750/850 stem is at least an inch shorter and has larger bearings. I think the first year XS750 had the same size fork tubes as the later XS650 but all others were larger.

I used an XS750 standard triple clamp on my XS650 but instead of swapping stems, I swapped necks. I was cutting it off to rake it anyway so it seemed like the easier option. The "standard" trees paired up with XS850 "Special" forks increased the offset enough to get the trail back down to a stock spec after raking it.

The XS750 triple clamp will not fit XS650 tubes.
XS650 up to 76 34mm
XS650 77 on 35mm
XS750/850 36mm
Brake rotors are smaller on the XS750/850 also, that means the caliper mounts are lower on an XS750. So if you go XS750 you would pretty much need the whole front end. You can swap in a XS650 wheel if you want.
Been here done this. 650 stem and wheel, 750 forks, triples, Maxim rotors. Alloy top triple coming from Durgam K. This requires some fiddling with fork stops and setting how far into the triple the stem is set before welding it.
