this yellow tube thats connected to the petcock goes down to the carb are and i was wondering what i should do with it because i got a new bobber petcock for my new tant and theres no second connection on the petcock so should i cap of the bottom part or what??

THat is the vacuum line. The original petcocks are vacuum operated so when there is vacuum in the carb manifold the petcock opens and lets gas out. If you have a regular petcock then you need to cap that vacuum barb on the manifold. Make sure no air can leak past it or you will have major problems.

A tire valve cap would probably seal it up pretty well.

So just cap it of with a tire valve cap then, and everything will be cool

I run a piece of hose between the carbs. Seals the vacuum and is supposed to help balance the carbs induction pulses. Can't prove it by me but my bike runs extremely well.

A tire valve cap is way to big. Get the right size at the parts store.
