Finally got a chance to mess with a GS1100E I picked up this Spring. Makes an amazing sound... going to throw the tank on it tomorrow and see if I can't take it for a spin.

Just looks fast... trick of the camera, I guess, because the pure SS bikes up there run through that same corner almost 30mph faster than I have. Now days, I just ride easy... no knee down, not even to the edge of this set of tires.
The odd thing is, back when I rode the 650 daily, it felt like I was riding a LOT harder than I ride the FZ. I remember throwing the XS into corners hard enough to hear the tires squeal. Though I had bought the farm more than once. The XS and FZ are two different animals, for sure. Love 'um both, though!

Just looked at your picture of you in the corner on the FZ1. Looks like your foot/feet are going to drag before the peg. Try moving your foot back so your toes are on the pegs while cornering. Nice riding gear you got. I like the bike. Keep it safe.
