Started out like this...free bike. Bought a seat and a stator and rode it.

Gave it a quicky clean up and rode it some more.

Started with her rearend..tightened it all up and buffed it out.
Stripped and polished the brake mount. All new paint and bushings in the swing arm.

All the bottom seals replaced. One piece clutch rod, new plates, electric starter fix done, all springs replaced so on to the top and buffing case covers.

I've looked at this thread a couple of times actually. Looks good. Didn't comment though cause the photos weren't embedded. Now you've got it covered. I guess we are all lazy like that.
 
Did some more sanding and polishing. Bottom end is nearly done.

Trimmed the frame...lost 40lbs. Added a diff bracket for the Tailight

What did you remove to lose 40 lbs from the frame (18 kg)? It sounds like an awful lot of steel. For example a Norton Commando frame weighs around 12 kgs totally stock.
 
Not just the frame. Pass. Pegs ,light brackets, centerstand and brackets, airboxes, diff LED lights and chopped the fenders. Aluminum handlebars, shaved forks etc. Approximately 40 lbs altogether. May go even further with lighter battery, pamco and pma, drilled rotors and rims and engine covers. May even lose the electric starter but I'm rather partial to it after a long day on my feet. Lol
