hi guys well yesterday,, saturday,,,, it was 35c... in my part of australia,,, in south australia they had 40c or a tad higher i felt sorry for them ,,, this week they reckon it could get to 40c during the week ... i think i,ll quietely die if it gets that hot ,, regards oldbiker

OLD biker that is HOT! I rode across central California in temps like that one time (115F) with full gear. Got to keep pouring the water in.... Felt like a wet dish rag by the end of the day but I kept going and camped in the mountains where it was cool. We never get that hot here a few days above 100F near 40C is very rare. Unfortunately below 0F -18C is NOT rare. Gotta keep the fire burning 24/7

21 F this morning. Starts 3rd kick thank god can barely turn it over. Forget to put on the wind breaker pants, too lazy to turn around, regrets guaranteed. Snotty back roads so took the highway. Still snotty, especially when changing lanes: seat has a good wrinkle right in the middle now. Half the time with visor cracked open so it doesn't fog up. Parking lot at work looks pretty, glistening. Stop breathing, no sudden movement, feather clutch/throttle, ignore brakes. Pull into underground "outlaw" spot, remove helmet and gloves trying to look like James Dean, barely containing knees shaking. People staring like bigfoot just went by. Climb stairs with wooden legs, go straight for the coffee pot.

Great way to start the day!

A huge high pressure area has moved in, and the chinook winds are bringing in warm air from the Pacific. Will be 13 C or 55 F today, which may be a record for this date! Calgarians will be wearing short pants to-day....................not surprising, because they wear shorts at anything above 5 C / 41 F
