Mikesxs has a starter block off kit. You'll need to plug the hole that the absent starter will leave. You can also remove one of the gears in the right side (I can't remember which one though). I believe the instructions are on mikes site.
I've heard of a couple of people using engine freeze plugs, they say there as good as mikes and you don't have to wait for shipping the auto parts stores always have them.
plus there a bit cheaper.
Lose the starter IMO, it's just a lot of excess weight, make sure you take out all of the related wiring too.
Make sure you plug the hole with something or you won't have to worry about oil changes.
