What are you Bobber guys using for solo seats?

Hey halloweenie, what hard tail are u runnin?
I have a tc bros. Was wondering what that seat looked like on it if you have the same.

I haven't started chopping yet. I wanted to be sure everything else is functional beforehand. Besides, I still can't decide which hardtail I want, mostly because the bike will still be my daily rider, so the really long and low hardtails might not be best (even though that is what I like).
 
I cut a seat pan out of some 1/8" I had laying around the garage with a Sawzall and a grinder. I welded some old lug studs that I had laying around to the seat pan and the frame. They fit the springs I had perfectly. Then put some carpet padding on it that my father-in-law had and covered it with some leather cut offs from e-Bay. Cost me about $6 to make it.

The seat actually isn't bad. I ride an hour to work and I'm fine. I am going to redo it though. I want to kick it up in the back more. Thinking about redoing it so it's a rigid mount seat with a high back. Too many springer seats around.

I have an extra motor, so I'm going to hot rod it over the winter. Then swap it in. Not sure if I'm going to send it to HHB yet or not. It's pretty expensive and things didn't work out this year like I hoped. I can save $1000 doing it myself (but I hate working on stuff lol).
 
I make my own as well. Does anybody know how to plumb for airbags under the seat. I have the airbags but I need a nipple that Ican let air in but won't let air out. Something like an air stem on your car tires maybe...any ideas?
 
I don't know how to post pictures using the ipad yet. I want to post a bunch of pictures of my xs chop because I have some good pics of my frame that i made along with my tank and some other stuff. Any ideas of how to post pics off of the ipad? As of the hardware for the airbags, I found out that I needed a schrader valve. I will start fabing mounts, tabs and all of the other good stuff this week and Ill take pics. I will start a build thread of my xs chop as soon as I figure out the picture posting thing.
 
Im using a redtail leather seat. I like the seat. Its pretty hard but it fits me right. The brown marbled tanning came off on me for a while. But repeated cleanings and abuse have stopped that for the most part. Chris at red tail was a heck of a great guy to deal with.

Just ordered a seat from lowbrow customs.Should work out fine.Got the 3" springs and mounts.Went ahead and picked up a new front tire too.

Got my seat from rich phillips on ebay. Took me awhile to figure out seat position because of my height. 6'4". Where it sits the stance is good and pretty comfy.
