Ignition coil making noise

I turn on the key, and turn on the kill switch and my ignition coil is beeping/buzzing about 2x per second. This just started yesterday when I put a new battery on the bike. Has anyone else experienced this? The bike isn't in running condition at the moment so I didn't kick it over to see if there is spark.

I build the custom harness and everything was fine, I just added turn signals and put on a new battery and this started, not sure what would cause this.

Sounds like something other than turn signals got tied-in to the flasher wiring. May want to double-check that...

Don't think so but will double check, but oddly enough the noise went away. Thanks

what ignition system? a points set could be on that fine line between make or break and do some weird [/S]shit stuff
