I am putting clipons on my new build. The throttle cables I have are too long (ape hanger bars before). What have you all done with cable length? How much off a stock cable should I take. I want to get some made so I am looking at get a specific length.

I just tested my 75 xs650 compression. It did pretty well, 150 on the right side and 147 on the left. However the head gasket is leaking oil all over the engine and I need to replace it. Question is, can i just do the head gasket without messing up the base gasket? And should i just re-ring...
