still nothing new, and wont be for awhile, I have started a new job and wont be able to put the time into the bike that I was hoping to... still have to finish the basement.. but once that is done!!! I will have time. Th wife says no more renos till next year!!

Well there is no new progress, redoing the basement now... arghh to the priorities..:bike: I did get the couch dug out, cleaned up and took her for a quick cold ride.:bike:

Nothing more yet. I got bit by the reno bug and my house it upside down at the moment.

ok heres my 2 cents, and I dont care if its wanted.... I didnt own any chopping tools until i started my first project.. I bought, borrowed and made what I needed. with no prior experience.... I had time, a garage, oh I miss the garage, a few great forums to help me out in the sticky...

sort of had a shift in priorities... so needed to rid myself of the painted hardwood floors.. you can see the old floors in some of the other pics.. A whole lot of sanding and some liquid patience!! and I am almost done. one more coat of poly on the below picture and then to continue with...

Chopped it in half today.. The Inspector was full of questions... and finally for today a side by side of the tail ends..

so I finally have enough time to get a bit more done.. the frame is in the house, I am loosening up the motor mount bolts and taking the last remnants off the frame.. then outside to zip cut the frame... and a very guerilla mock up

im going to get the parts bin emptied on the floor and photos of everything, I wont need it all so it will be up for grabs

Just spoke with a buddy, going to get this chopped and welded over the holidays.. So I have a set of mini apes that I need to widen an inch in the center where it gets clamped to the risers, I plan on running the wires through the bars.

Hello there, Im pleased to be a part of this.. Here is a pic of the project , I will need some stopping power.

i will be doing an oil mod of somesort though, was hoping to do an external oil filter, but after searching the site. i may just go with the oil filter mod from mikesxs.

directional treads. the arrow was pointing the wrong way, I should have stated that.. instead of backwards.

Im going to use as much of the stock parts as possible. I do want to go with some spoked rims eventually.. as well as rear disc brakes.. taking this apart I noticed the front wheel was mounted backwards..

Progress was slow today.. but heres where I am at. the bike was partially torndown when I got it, I have a question about the top triple tree.. pictured below, what are these holes for?

So the weather cooperated today.. only -2, so I started the teardown

The kiddos are gone next week, and I am bringing it into the living room for dismantling..
