The bike Kicks over and starts typically the first kick can get it to run nicely for about 3 mins, then lights dim... it sputters then it dies. IF I wait about 5...
I figure I'd start a thread on my build 1980XS650 that I bought for $350.00. Looking forward to comments, Q&A's and what not. My first bobber build, please keep in mind i am an Accountant with a passion for motorcycles. This is how we started off.
Removed my Carb off my 1980 XS650 and pretty sure it is a Mikuni BS34. However, the float bowl doesn't look like all of the diagrams I see for the BS34. Can someone help assure me that this is a BS34 and help find a correct diagram, been going round and round about this. Thanks! See pictures:
