    1980 xs650 run without ignition

    I just bought a XS650 from up north, after it was delivered I put fresh gas and a battery in and she fired right up! But here's the catch. The ignition switch, timing advance, and coil pick up's are are missing. Does anybody have a clue how the bike is even running??? I bought it from a charity...

    Mikuni vm32's on 1980 xs650

    I know ideally I need 34-38mm but would the 32mm version work well if I jet them properly? The reason I'm considering the 32mm is I've got a new pair sitting around that I could use.
