my age is 54, been riding since I was about 13 (dirt). did the mini bike thing with an old lawn mower engine early on, I think thats what got me hooked. Then progressed to street a few years later.

Well that would be about a 5 hrs ride one way for me. I'll be bringing my bike down in the back of my truck. I'm too old to ride a hard tail that long, but I am going.

To all the Tx guys here on the forum. There is an event coming up called the 'Giddy Up Vintage Chopper Show' in New Braunfels, Tx. Who has gone to this event, is it a good time or what? I am wanting to go and wanted some info from anyone how has gone. What can you tell me about it?

Shaving my front forks down is one of my to do items. I have all my new seals and springs but don't have the necessary tools to take them apart and put them back together. There are some great how to's, to do it on the form, gotta make some tools to do it. Keep the update coming, like to hear...

Should you FU some thing, it's a learning experience to fix it. It probably would have broke anyway. Your right, if its going to break, its going to break and I'll fix it. look to the regular maint. stuff and go from there. thanks
