Trying to wire a stock xs headlight (has 3 wires: black, green, yellow) onto the bike which has a brown and a black coming in. I won't have any high/low switch-just a basic headlight. I'm thinking black to black, and the green and the yellow hooked to the brown? Any help would be great...

If your just running with straight header pipes that end somewhere around the foot pegs, can they just be secured at the top, or do you need to somehow clamp or attach them to the frame down below? Thanks, Jeff

OK, I am new at this stuff, but really try to do everything myself, so bear with me...How the heck do you remove the dust seal, in order to get to and remove those tabs. I am gonna install the HHB speedo delete on the front wheel. Is the dust seal all rubber? Thanks, Jeff

40 spoke, 21 x 2.15 HD wheel, 3/4 axle in hub with tire (90 series) F/S. I believe this is a wide glide hub. It measures about 6 inches wide. The wheel is in very good shape. The tire has some rubber left. $60, plus any shipping involved.

Installing apes on an 83 XS. I've got the clutch and throttle figured out. Need an extended drum brake cable. I've attached some pics of what came off the bike for reference. thanks, jeff
