I'm trying to wire a stock headlight (has 3 wires: green, yellow, and black), onto a chop/bob bike which has only 2 wires coming out of the harness: a black and a brown. The old set-up (that's being replaced), had a toggle switch for the high/low beam.....the new set-up will not. I'm thinking I need to hook up black to black and the yellow and the green wire go to the brown wire? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks, Jeff

The best thing to do first is check with the battery what wire is what HIGH/LOW/GROUND
You are going to have to put a three position toggle switch in if there is none for high beam low beam and running light to tail light otherwise you will have headlight but no tail.
I make and do harnesses all the time and that's the easies way with a toggle mounted in head light bucket
six pin center off toggle is easy to get
Three front pins are HIGH BEAM- HOT12 V -LOW BEAM
Three Back pins are RUNNING LIGHT -HOT 12 v- RUNNING LIGHT ( you just jump the wires from one pin to another for running light) so it will be on for high or low and you jump across the two hot to 12 volts work fine $4.00 part from Radio SHack
