How long should it take a decent mechanic to set the timing, adjust the cam chain tension and adjust the valves on my '81 xs650?

Need someone who knows how to work on these xs650s. Mine runs fine but need valves/ lifters adjusted? Got some loud tapping? Maybe camchain slapping? I don't know. I'm no mechanic.

Just need the tach with the wiring. Don't need the cable. Anyone got one out there they want to sell? Trying to replace this mess.
