I put this together from a $100 titled basket case in our living room. The engine is a 96 z50r that I built to 88cc with a race head and cam. It's street legal and does 45-50mph with my 180lbs on it. She's just learning to ride but it rips with her on it.

I got these directly from hughs handbuilt a few weeks ago and have decided to go with Mikunis. These we're run by Hugh on his personal bike. $400 shipped in the Lower 48 or will trade for a complete VM or TM mikuni set up.

Anyone know how to get a response from these guys? I bought a triple clamp a month ago and it never shipped and they never contacted me.:wtf:

Took the Gorilla on a long mountain run today. It's got a YX 150cc with the TB race head and a VM26. I get to pressure bike bikes on tight turns.:D

SOLD! Bought this a while back to run on my SR500. It's got a slightly higher rise to allow use of a low profile fender. Will fit all XS650s and SR500s with 35mm forks. This is a beautiful piece done in raw steel and has never been mounted. $50 shipped in the lower 48.

I picked this up as an unfinished resto-mod with 8k miles and a new top end. I cleaned up the front end for clip-ons and have some nice rearsets on the way. I need to find a fork brace and make a harness with the PC8 hub I have. All these new projects fall into my lap and I keep putting the 650...

I have a 200zx6r front end on my 650 and I'm taking the build in a dual-sport scrambler direction. I want longer travel front forks but I don't want to go through another complete front end swap. There are other enduro type bikes (xr650 honda) with longer travel front forks of the same diameter...

I've been sitting on some nice Japanese parts from webike and just started putting this 78 together. I've got a nice Beams exhaust and a VM36 carb to install and I'm upgrading the brakes front and rear to YZF R1 blue dots.

I was trying to use a sawzall while wearing a cast and chopped off the dangling ignition switch on my 77xs project. I plan on running toggle and momentary switches in place of the factory switch but I need to know which wires do what etc.:shrug: Been loving this early spring...riding the XR...

Got the micrometer out today and confirmed it. The zx6r wheel bearings fit right into the stock xs wheel. Just need to fill the gap in wheel width with some spacers and I'll be running my spoked 19" on a 25mm hollow axle....easy. pics to come this weekend.

Getting bored waiting for bearings & such so I decided to see how these sound.A little over run on decel so I think they'll get some glass.

Has anyone put a stock, spoked 19" xs wheel on a larger diameter hollow axle? Will I have to go to a mx or supermoto wheel?:shrug:
