Anyone know anything about these. I have a line on one that I can get cheap. It needs tranny work(thats all i know about the bike so far) But I am more interested in its chop-bob potential. Anyone have experience with them? Think they have enough potential?

Anyone running wider tires and wheels on their bikes. Curious as to what sizes are being used. Not looking to run a 200 or something stoopid wide, but like the old school fat tire look. Sorting out maybe running 15 inch or 16 inch wheels with a 130 or 150 front with a 150 rear.

Anyone here done it? Saw a great looking springer over at RedNeck Engineering, but I can't see spending over $1100 for one when I've seen some available for half that. Wondering what kind of "engineering" needs to go into it. Aside from some serious TIG skills. Hoping Punkskalar chimes in.

looking at maybe doing my own welding on my bike when I get it and was wondering if anyone knows what grade steel is used for the frame. Figured I could get some as scrap to practice my welding skills before I go at the bike. Figured I might as well bend up some bars while I'm at it too.

Has anyone tried a plunger type rear suspension similar to a 1959-ish BMW R50? Read an article in this month's Motorcycle Classics magazine and thought it looked doable to try and get a bober look but keep a rear suspension and two up riding. Or at least a more comfortable p-pad ride.

Trying to find this muffler and where to buy a couple. Its either this or ripple pipes for the XS650 I am gathering parts to build.
