    Yamaha Bolt Build Off...

That's cute. But clearly they wont win and daily begging isn't going to help. It's the FB general population who will decide the winner

It's just a question, Should Negative Members (Hater's) Be Banned From Site?

Look, I never said anything directed at any person specifically, and I also did not mean to get anyone up in arms. That said, I've noticed a few things amongst the 650 bike set that have really started to irk me. It's not the usual "is my pamco hooked up right?" or "what hardtail should I get"...

It's just a question, Should Negative Members (Hater's) Be Banned From Site?

Artist? are you fucking kidding me. I don't want to sound insensitive, but there are way too many autistic kids on here cobbling together death traps, and I ain't seeing any new artwork. Sorry, I've been hitting the white out pretty hard today but I like how my posts were deleted because I...

Cam at TDC but pistons at the bottom

I was going to do that, but I want to know if the cam is just out 180 with the pistons at the bottom. As in Bottom dead center!? The PMA was already in but I had the Pamco wired to the green coils and battery just to hear it run. I had known good carbs and every variable was perfect but the...

Cam at TDC but pistons at the bottom

It has a PMA and is not marked for TDC. When the Cam notch is pointing straight up, the pistons are as low as they will go. If I can't depend on the PMA to indicate TDC then I needed to look for the notch in the cam, which didn't make sense because the pistons were at the bottom of the jugs...

Cam at TDC but pistons at the bottom

This engine I got from a po wouldn't start despite good spark, fuel, and everything else looking fine and so upon further examination, I discovered the cam shaft slot when at TDC, the pistons were at the bottom of the stroke, or at the bottom of the case. I observed this by looking thru the...

    Hard on Build

Just skimming thru this but, are you like the general contractor on these builds; as in, are are you actually building anything or you shop all the parts out to suppliers and have someone assemble them to your drawings and you direct the construct??

    chain tensioner

Those sprocket or skatewheel type chain tensioners, will they eliminate or reduce having to tighten the chain at the axle adjusters? I'm at the max chain travel on the axles and short of cutting a link out, I'm considering going the tensioner route anyway. Thanks

    What's with Ardcore Choppers?

I filed a Paypal complaint against them but there was no way to make it a dispute. The next day I got a email from them asking if I want my money back. They refunded it after over 10 weeks of waiting and claimed that my tail was going to be shipped out tomorrow....Bizzare business model that is...

    What's with Ardcore Choppers?

Yeah somethings up. Been waiting 9 weeks here. Called once and it was " um, um um, oh uh, when did you order again, it's gonna be another few weeks..." But when I was inquiring over the course of 3 emails, got a nice quick response every time. And as soon as I placed the order never heard...

1st over size piston & stock size rings

It is 75mm, my measuring is off. Is it better to keep the 1st over pistons, get new rings and bore my cylinders or go back to stock pistons in my stock cylinder thats in good shape and use the new 75mm ring kits I already have?

1st over size piston & stock size rings

The bore I'm dealing with measures 74.50 on both cylinders so it looks like I have the stock cylinders with 1st over pistons in the case. This was a basket case and the pistons in the lowend look like the've been used but are clean enough to suggest that they have been cleaned so I don't know...

1st over size piston & stock size rings

Going thru this basket case and found the pistons are .25, or 1st over. I also have 2 new in the box stock bore ring kits. Any chance using those or must I get the 1st size over rings as mandatory? Thanks
