This is my trick for removing or installing a center stand. Extend the center stand the wedge washers in the spring. The fold up the stand and remove the spring. If you need to install the spring put it in a vice. Then bend the spring and put the washers in.

I am thinking about putting a MotoLanna aluminum swingarm on my XS Storm. Has anyone mounted a caliper under the swingarm. The MotoLanna swingarm is for drum brake and the strut mount is on the bottom. I could move the mount but would not really want too.
