Searched but didn't find anything helpful. What size are the screws that hold the bezel on an 83 Special? My headlight was hanging out and bouncing around on my fender, and duct tape is only going to last so long.
Thanks
Ok, I will admit to being a noob. I read the carb guide and still went and bought a Sigma 6 Jet Kit, thinking that somebody would be able to give me a set of jets based on my description of mods elevation etc. I ride an 83 special with pods and open 2-1 pipes.
I got a kit with 145 mains, a set...
The nut I am looking at is definitely not 36mm. Can anybody link to a picture of what I am looking for? I see a bolt with a phillips cut into the end and a nut on that. Is the nut I am looking for behind that?

The crew we were riding with on the way down had a...
Put 325 miles on my 83 special today. She ran great. Lost a bar end mirror, and my tach is coming loose, but overall a great ride. Rode most of Route 66 in Missouri, stopped at a great little bar called the Elbow Inn and then took back roads home.
That streetfighterz video was from St. Louis. Those guys are out stunting in heavy traffic all the time. Amazing to watch, but spooky when they are pulling wheelies inches from your car. A guy passed me on his front wheel sitting side saddle once while a guy with his girl on the back did a...
I don't know about right or wrong, but I wrapped one leg down as close as I could get to the area that gets too tight to wrap through. I secured it with a stainless zip tie and cut it off. I wrapped the other side down as far as I could and then started to wrap both together. I wrapped between...
