    Low idle at start:

    Hey guys, trying to finish my 1981 XS650, carb was doing good but now when you start bike low idle and no throttle, took off air boxes and notice when giving it throttle my carb slides are just shaking when using throstle but not going up, what's going on?

    id a carb model

    Does anyone know of a 650 Yamaha that the carbs use a N151.067 style pilot jet? I got a pair off of e bay.The add read carbs off of a 76 xs 650 Yamaha.I think they are off of a different brand motorcycle. Can anyone help Thanks

    Carb Help Please

    Removed my Carb off my 1980 XS650 and pretty sure it is a Mikuni BS34. However, the float bowl doesn't look like all of the diagrams I see for the BS34. Can someone help assure me that this is a BS34 and help find a correct diagram, been going round and round about this. Thanks! See pictures:

    Carbs are flooding like a faucet

    Retaining Disk

    Anyone know why the retaining disk would move up the piston wall, and get stuck? Causing the needle to jump out of the slide? Any help would be appreciated. Here is a pick.
