    bike will only run on choke,

    hi guys im new to this forum have just bought my first xs650 café racer, bike starts on choke but as soon as you take it off bike cuts out, ive cleaned carbs but still no joy ANY IDEAS PLEASE

    Hello , Just got a new old motorbike.

    ... I've been way too excited about getting my first street bike. I just sold an old car, got a few bucks and picked up a rough running 79.. its petcocks need rebuilt , gas tank is rusty, and carbs " were" dirty. I have to say this forum and some of the online shops catering to the xs650...
