I went to a local shop to get a rear tire. They had two options. Neither in stock. Avon I think was one and the other is Enduro brand. It is a street tire. Funny it's called Enduro. But anyways, I wanted slightly wider than the 100/90/19 that is on there now and that is as wide as they go for a 19" rear apparently. Or that's what the guy at the parts counter said anyway. I ordered it and it'll be there later this week. Is this true that you can't go wider. Maybe if it's a racing tire, but I don't want that.

Very interesting thing.. my 19” Track tire is sized by dimensions I’ve never heard of before.
It is wide at a measurable 4 3/8” + ?
It is a 27.0 x 7.0 - 19 Vee Rubber Racing tire not for Highway use …
In other words , golf course tire
😁👍

look into Dunlop TT100’s those are old school nice.
Several 19” sizes (4.10) TT100’s are very popular on British bikes such as Nortons.
I remember a set of TT100’s which were mounted either forward or reversed depending on which wheel it was used on .
I liked the set I ran

Vee Rubber does make that tire in a DOT approved version that is for street tracker use. Also Duro HF308 series makes a 400/19 rear.

Thanks. It's not listed on Vee Rubber's site. I just inquired in an email. 400, is that a monster tire? I have a stock swing arm.

It's a little smaller. Duro makes a Pirelli MT53 dirt track tire copy in 400/19...if you can find one. HF308

Here are some pics of my Duro HF308 on my old tracker with an Omar’s kit. Bike is long gone though.
