1973 TX650 rear shocks

I picked up a pretty much stock TX650 a while back and am in the process of getting her ready for the road in the spring. One thing I've noticed is it feels like I'm riding a hardtail. I'd like to get some shocks that will soften the ride a little. Any suggestions out there ?
