SOLD!!!! 1979 Yamaha XS650 Special II for sale, only 18,241 miles, good condition. $1,700

New air filters, battery, clutch cable, oil strainers, front brake pads, carb holders, center stand spring. Carburetors cleaned and rebuilt, new fuel lines and fuel filters. Oil changed. Tank is clean, seat is in good shape.

The price is relatively low as there is an oil leak from the left cylinder (re-torqueing cylinder heads and/or higher viscosity oil should remedy this); breaks are somewhat spongy and need to be bled, I just don't have the time.

Other than that the bike starts and runs great and is a pleasure to ride

I'm in Boulder! But my $ is going towards parts for my current build ... if you still have it in a few months I may take it off your hands.. I'll keep an ear out locally as well for you in case anyone in my circle of people is needing a clean XS to build...
