1981 engine cases

Due to some frame modifications planned during my restore projects, I want to get a set of bare cases for some mock up projects. I am doing a 1979 Special and need to know if a set from a 1981 will be the same. This is probably a dumb question but the more I check into these bikes, It seems that some parts are pretty model specific. Just makes me a little gun shy.

In 72 they added the e-start, some changes were made to the cases then. I think they are all the same from then on.

Got my bare cases today and got them split. They are going to have to go and get cold tanked. really dirty! They had the shift drum and forks, that don't look like they have ever been used, if anyone has a need, let me know.
