71 restoration parts, Where do I find them?

I am trying to restore a 71 xs650, but finding parts is a nightmare..... any tips?
The only reason the bike is worth it, is it only has 8000 original miles on it

Some parts are common to other models, but not many. Post up pics of your current project, and what you're looking for, might get lucky...

I have a 1974 TX650 (XS650) that I chopped up. all the original parts were taken off are still in good condition. if interested in any parts, lmk.

I've seen many '71 XS1B parts on eBay. Craaazy prices from junkyard strippers.

Thought about starting a cottage business: You send me one of your parts, I place it atop my seat, then return it to you.

You may now advertise it as: 'Came off an XS1B'...
