I recall a long-ago conversation with member DogBunny concerning the interchangeability of these screw-on covers, and I believe that the types "A", "B", "C", and TX750 can all interchange. Some use a ring gasket, some have a groove that takes an o-ring. DogBunny can shed more light on this...
