CT/RI-Up for trade, body has 160k on it and motor is from japan so it has less but not exactly sure of mileage.
For the bad;
Blown head gasket,starts and runs fine but after 20min of driving coolant will start coming out of the expansion tank. This is a common problem on these motors due to coming from the factory with the head bolts only torqued to 57ft lbs when it should be close to 80.
Suspension is shot.
Cat back echaust is missing.
the good.. targa top doesn't leak, all windows lights are in working order that I am aware of.
The timing belt and clutch were done when the jdm motor was installed.
Tranny shifts smooth, brakes all work, this would make a good lil project for someone.
And I do have title and bill of sale.
This was going to be my project but due to lack of funds and time I'm just going to trade it for another bike. Looking for an 80 or newer xs650, but I will consider all other years as well.
