Almost got her tuned juuuuust right

All - I wanted to report back on some of my findings after a test ride to get everyone's opinion. I went ahead and through in some size 35 pilot jets, adjusted the mixture screw as I test road. I went from 1 turn out to 2.25. I'll admit, going down in pilot jet size I didn't notice much of a difference between the 35's and 40's. Attached is a bunch of photos of the plugs after I held the bike in the "flat spot" and turned it off. I tried to take the best photos I could. They look a little rich to me....Opinions? Think I should be going up from the 40 jet size?

Thanks ... Vince

Took the bike out again yesterday for some test rides. The 35 pilot jet in. 1/2 a turn out. 2.25 turns out is worse, bike barely holds idle. With 1/2 turn out the bike still has nasty flat spots out of first gear up to about 4500 RPMs than it takes off like a bat out of hell. Suggestions?
