Hi, I'm in the UK and trying to source either a used or new rotor for my 1979 XS650, its a pre-electronic ignition model. Ive looked at the ones available overseas, however, shipping makes purchase expensive. Anyone know of a good supplier in the UK?
Many thanks,
Graydon

It doesn't sound like you do understand. You can use the '80 and later electronic ignition rotor in any 650, even the earlier points models. You can't use the points model rotor in the '80 and newer bikes with electronic ignitions. The points rotor has no magnet embedded in it to trigger the electronic ignition pick-up.
