I currenty have vm34s with uni's and rubber boot monifolds. My uni mount got torn so I want to get another. I am thinking of going to velocity aluminum stacks instead should I even bother? I'm a casual rider. I was also considering the 650 central aluminum manifold as well....am I just wasting my cash or are these worth wile upgrades......any help would be awesome

I think they are worth it and they look great. Plus, you won't ever have to worry about rubber manifolds getting eaten up. Just make sure you have a screen in the velocity stack.

Where did you or from what did you make your tank knee pads? I have the same carb and velocity stack set up on my bike. I like it.

It's called Snake Skin by Tech Spec. Normally used on sport bikes as tank grip. You can buy a sheet and make your own cut outs.

Here is a close up
