Anybody have pics of the mags chromed

Anybody got pics of the mag wheels after they have been chromed? Can you even chrome them?

You can chrome almost anything! They would be a bit heavy chromed. Haven't seen it yet.

Chroming things is damn expensive these days... I can't say I've ever seen an XS650 set chromed. The mag castings are kind of rough so it probably wouldn't look right.

I agree, the stock mag castings are very rough. That's why mine are satin black and not gloss. If you wanted to chrome them, you'd want them smooth first. And if I was to go to the work of making them smooth, I'd just polish them. Would be a lot of work, but may look cool!
