Anyone try to make a small pillion pad?

I'm gonna build a rear mudguard with a small pad, useful when trying to pick up that special lady with my flashy xs.

Any tips what materials to use? I'm worried it might get deformed quick when someone sits on it and I'm gonna bolt it with some old steel rivets I found. If I get some tips I'll try to make a small how to if anyone's interested to try to contribute to the xs community.

hi you may get an idea from the royal enfield motorcycle site as it has a small seat for the pillionat xxxxx amount and looks easy to mount ... regards oldbiker

I was thinking to make one up and use that flat rubber sheet magnet so i can take it off without any holes or marks to the paint.

16g sheet metal pan, big chunk of foam, vinyl cover..

use some fabric to make a test cover. a normal sewing machine can do thinner vinyl but not leather.. drill holes in the steel and attach with short sheet metal screws. you can grind off the sharp tip if you're worried about it poking you in the ass
