Bad TCI box, or ground shorting somewhere?

Pick up coil just ohmed both leads about 750 so the pickup is good. I suspect my TCI. It's the only thing I haven't been able to rule out yet. With the gel battery and the bike running it revs up and at 4k I show 14.5 volts which leads me to believe the reg rec is good.

If ya lived down the street I'd let you borrow one of my known good ones for testing.

NJ I do happen to live "down" the street, just about 45mins down lol. If you have a TCI I can borrow let me know, I can swing out tomorrow or even this evening to grab it. I have a 6 wire box, and my bike is an 81 special.
