ballast resistor/condenser question.

where should i wire in my condenser for my coil? before or after the ballast resistor? or does it matter?.

Edit, looked at a schematic. Doesn't even go where i thought it did. Goes on the other wire with the points....never mind.

If you are using the right coil for your ignition a ballast resistor isn't needed.

it's a 3 ohm h.o. so i used a ballast resistor to bring it close to 4.


so thats the answer to the question i never asked in the first place.
