Local Kijiji had this advertised on Friday, so I went to get it. The back story is that a woman bought it new, put 17,xxx miles on it and stored it when her family came along. Was said to be in a tin shed for years and years, but given the fading of the tach, maybe she left the door open.
I will need to get an ownership p.o. is around but is said to be "miserable" so I will do a stat dec once I get the UVIF. The engine is stuck so I have put the first of several applications of penetrating fluid to see if that works before I go to acetone/brake fluid blend.
It will make a good project, because with the exception of the chrome bits on the side panels, it is all there.

Pictures follow.

That would 140.00 per side! But thank you for the site reference, good to know they are available.

I wouldn't call it a barn find. Junk yard fugitive is more like it. I would get a title from the miserable bitch before you waist any more money. Hope you got it for free. Good luck and a big pile of money you are going need it on this project.

I would consider that one too far gone. It will cost more to restore everything, especially all the chrome bits, than the bike would be worth once done. However, there are some good parts there. In particular, the rear shocks look like Konis. If the chrome rods in them aren't all rusty and pitted up, they can be renovated and you would have a very nice set of vintage shocks there.
