Yes, Marty! They're also relatively cheap, and they catch a lot of crud. My local bike shop, Gainesville Motorsports, has them for about $2.59 each. I'm sure ebay has them by the dozen. Good luck!

Don't forget inline gas filters. If not, you'll be cleaning your carbs once a month till all the rust is gone, which is never! I use the little funnel shaped ones, they fit in between the carbs and frame better.
Yes they do work. Make sure you check them once in a while or at least carry spares. Otherwise you may find yourself 3 states from home along side a busy interstate with a bike that won't stay running. Don't ask me how I know.
Your typical Home Depot 3 inch angle brace has the holes already drilled almost bang on, just cut it in half and add a home made gasket to close off petcock mounting holes.
