The base gasket is seeping a bit of oil. Not catastrophic but enough to pool on the case after a ride. I was going to try to attempt to tighten the whole thing down but it feels as if the bolts holding it all together are twisting so I have just been running it as is and watching the oil level. Any suggestions? I really don't wanna tear it all apart just yet as the weather is getting nicer and this is the one I have to ride as I cut up the other one.

Double check it's not your camchain tensioner O-ring. Oil often sneakily migrates and emerges to point the finger at the base gasket.

The gasket between the adjuster housing and the cylinders can leak as well as the cover o-ring.
An easy fix on both. The o-ring can be got from the parts store, just take the old one in and match it up.
The gasket can be mage from a cardboard box. I like the boxes breakfast cereal comes in. Cut to match. A thin coat of grease on both sides and back together and yoyr good to go.
