Mel, I bought a Shorai LFX14A2-BS12. 14 amphour, 210 cold crank amps. It sits for weeks and cranks right over. Same sitting for weeks, put on my CTek multi US3300 charger and it goes on stand by in a few minutes.

I have a Ballistic Battery,the 8 cell model. A bit smaller, and lighter than the Shorai battery. 15 a/h 275 cca's. I like it alot.

Thanks for the info guys. I think I will go with the 8 cell ballistic battery. Guys are now using them on the total loss flattrackers and have nothing but good to say about them.

Would the 4 cell version work on a kick only set up, with headlights, stoplights and turn indicators or is the 8 required?
Yes, the 4 cell will work fine. They sell the EVO2 50, it's 2x2x3.25, weighs .543 lbs. It is a 4 ah, 80 cca $49.99 on their website, probably find it cheaper on Ebay.
