Thanks jd, for sharing this. If I may... November 2 the family of Jimmy R.Cain will be sponsoring a bike run in memory of their son and the rest that lost their lives. It will start in Fultondale Al. at Black Creek Park which is just N of Birmingham Al. Proceeds will go to Wounded Warriors. It is a free event and donations will be accepted. Some of the mothers of the slain soldiers will be honored there and festivities will be going on all day while the riders are on the bike run. Music will be provided as well as booths set up to sell leathers, patches, and BBQ; most of the vendors are donating part of their proceeds toward Wounded Warriors Project.

A good friend and former co-worker was a Marine there that day; Capt. William Dunn. We had many a lunch time conversation about those events, along with my experiences in the early 90's. Nothing I experienced could come close to the shit that hit the fan that day.
