Hey everyone just found this site. I love looking at all the bikes. This is my 3rd XS build, a friend of mine gave me a motor, rear wheel, and tank. That was enough to give me the bug. I sold some parts to come up with a budget. Recently scored a sportster frontend of ebay and currently waiting on the center piece a frame from Ardcore choppers. Very excited about this one.

Man that's a pretty sweet engine rotisserie. I'ma bookmarking this thread so I can build one based off of pics! Hope you don't mind me stealing your creative genius :D

BTW nice choice on the Ardcore frame. I love their designs. On my next build I'm def ordering a frame from them

Thanks, but that's not my creative design I stole the idea from K&L tools. I think they wanted 299.00. I had all the material already so it cost me about a six pack and some time. It work's great fully adjustable I have not find a motor yet that it does not work on.

Ok, my Biltwell low drags came in and now the internal throttle system is installed. Also cut the fender mounts and brake caliper mount off the fork legs. I am only running on brake caliper on left side. Then I grinded down headlight mounts off top tree. I got all these 1/4 X 20 brass acorn nuts laying around so I removed all the the 6 X 1.00 studs off the valve cover and installed different studs to run the brass nuts.

Got some work done yesterday. I had to remove the camshaft to cut it down for the Mule end caps. While I was there thought I should look at the topend too. I found the plastic on the cam chain guide hanging there so good thing I did. Now prepping motor for paint. Also got the rear wheel laced up looks alot better than that rusty pic up top.

Everything is looking great Ben!. Cant wait to see this bike completed. Oh and ahhhh how much do you want for the rims? :) I love the spokes in the second picture. I would be interested though :)

Are you talking about the rear rim? The only thing I have left is the rusty spokes from the rear wheel you can have them if you want them. Just pm me and pay for the shipping of course.

Got some more parts back from the powder coat shop today. Was able to get some work done. Mocked up the frontend, I do not like where the headlight sits so I'm going to lower it a bit. Other than that just waiting on some parts to finish the motor.
