Bitty Budget Young Hardtail Tracker

Thanks Brothers!

Another quickie before class... Camera Phone.
That's how Clip-On's are lookin' as of now and I freaking love em'. When i get the Fender and Seat glue'd in place I'll take a few comparisons of Bars vs. Bars w/ Pillion seat facing front or back. Facing 'Front' now? Has been reversed for the majority of the build but I'm liking it the way it is now...

That little white pole is a visual as to where the Strut bar's will be. Not less that 3/8" thickness.. more than likely going 1/2" Cold Rolled.

Lolz.. I guess I should attempt to complete this. I sorta forgot about it.. :S
But yeah, she's gone through some changes since.

Blown a Pamco, swapped pipes, made a few sets.. started another XS build that's 3/4's complete. . and alot of gettin' familiar with my MIG'y, and I'm still shit. blehhh! but I've been working a lot of late, but, just got back into the swing of things in the last few days.

Ended up making a set of high pipes,. got cheap and tried doing it from straight tube using pie cuts but, didnt realize it wouldnt work for my pipe application seeing as i wanted both pipes to ride parallel, they would pull all out of line by the time i finished welding em.. Pie cuts would be awesome for a big single though, or 2 - 1's.. just didnt work for the first go at these.

So i did end up rebuilding them with bends,.

MAde a little Fake oil can/components box thingy.. for the hardtail I wanted to stick further more with the lines of stubby and thick, like a little Smiff n Wesson lol.. So, its main purpose for me was the "fill-in" the guts a bit, give it a belly.

These pics are a bit outdated, as I have all my switches drilled/mounted on the can/box aswell, right behind the Coil which is also mounted on there.

But here's how she stands now,..

-To do's
*Fender Struts in Rear
*Front Brace
*Secure pegs better
*Making a new set of bars, They'll mount fromt the original holes, they'll be like those clips ones, but a little smaller/closer/ yet higher.. and still have downsweep.

This was originally gonna be a hardtail flatrack/grass track bike but ended up twisting a bit.. still had the essence of one a bit though. specially with the number plate and bracing when its all done.

Stole the number plate of the Number 88 truck in the Lucas Oil Offraod Series, The Laonmart Pro-lite that my buddy Austin Kimbrell drives, they loveee throwing these away at the shop. I take em home and throw em on bikes lol:thumbsup:

Oh these are the down pipes I just finished for the Second 650 build, used the first bit of the original pipes and added on some 1.5" to it. Kept it super close to the engine/frame, real tight, lighter pipes aswell. Wanna add some sort of upsweep/muffler to em'.

Tried to do a 2 - 1 but, wasnt feelin it for this build afer a while..

Bit hard to see, all these shitty blackberry pics

Stole the tank of the CB360 and threw it on the other 650 build, and it fits! bitter sweet now, because my stomach hurts whenever i walk by the 360 and see it out of commission now. . . I might just get the same exact take, or a stock 650 tank and see how it looks on there. .
