Bought a new rotor the other day

if you are fitting a new part to a tapered shaft it never hurts to use some 'Engineers Blue' to check how well the tapers fit together so that the woodruf key isn't over stressed

I sent the other rotor back and ordered one from custom rewinds. Quality is a work of art. I will put it on tonight if it's less than 100 degrees in the shop.
 
A little trick we use on our racing Briggs karts is to use a little valve lapping compound on the taper of the flywheel and lap the two surfaces together to make sure the fit is right on.
