I noticed that I have a broken spoke on my rear wheel. It's been bent back on itself so I imagine it was ridden some while broken. Can I just put a new spoke and nipple in and snug it up without a problem?

Depends on which spoke, some require a substantial removal of other spokes to get them in. Spokes with the head inside the flange are easiest. You will still need to do some bending to get it in the rim.
Hi Mark,
like Gary sez, some go in a lot easier than others. With the head on outside I've had to bend a spoke in a half-circle to wiggle it past all the other spokes and straighten it a bit at a time as it went past them until it could finally be fully straightened and poked through the nipple hole.
