Been working to run to ground the issue with the fouling plugs on my 1983 bike and finally pulled the enricher plunger and feel like the viton tip looks ragged.

Partzilla shows the OEM part (5V4-14171-00-00) is obsolete. Anyone have any experience finding replacements? Mikes has an option on but curious if anyone has experience with them or other source. Thanks! URL of mikes below for reference.

Thanks although different its helpful to see.

May just give Mikes a chance. Just seems like there was suppose to be a raised ring that has parts wear off.

Got the Carb Choke Plunger Mikuni BS34 CV carbs (48-0775) from mikes. Fit my 1983 cable choke setup perfectly. Only a few test runs but seem to be help on the black plugs although after a test run the left plug was noticeable darker than the right. I noticed the left plunger not fully seating. I can move it just a bit when the cable is fully extended so I wonder if my root cause was the springs pushing the plungers weakening with age? Few trips where I tap that left plunger show I've gone from blacked plugs to to lean white.

Good start for the mikes replacements though if you have a cable pulled setup.
