After agonizing for literally years about side covers I'm final going with some from an XS400 with the emblems swapped. They fit the frame and look stock but work with the pod filters and monoshock.

In other updates, I've replaced the KX motocross forks with KLX supermoto forks. A little shorter and much better tuned for the street. Also replaced the skinny 21 up front with a wider 19. Handling on the street is way better and in the dirt too, except for maybe being a little less stable plowing through deep sand.
