Cast/Spoked wheel fitment

Hi all,

I'm currently mulling over fitting an FZR600 front end onto my bike. I'll be mocking up the install so that I can sort out axle spacers and the brake setup. I've got a spare cast front wheel but have a spoked front wheel on my bike which I intend to use with the FZR forks. Quick question; are the spacers/mounting requirements the same for the cast and spoked wheels? Essentially, I'd like to be able to do the mock up with the cast wheel while leaving the spoked wheel on my bike.
Sorry for the lazy question, both wheels and the rest of my bike is currently living 100 miles away so I can't make the comparison myself.

It's a long time since I lived in Bristol but I can still speak the dialect.
The XS650 cast and wire wheels have identical fit-ups and are a straight swap for each other.
Dunno how easily an XS650 wheel would go into FZR forks but either wheel would fit up the same way.

You do indeed speak the lingo!
The challenge is making up spacers to fit the XS wheel in the FZR forks. At least now I know I've got a spare wheel to mock it up with.
