Change Regulator or get A PMA (83 650)

I did the electrical test and found I have a bad solid state regulator. So my choice is to spend $110 on a mikes xs regulator, $270 PMA, or this $35 regulator on ebay:

Do you think this item will last? Or should I just get the PMA and be done with it. I already did a PAMCO on this bike.

Caution: The last post, buy Retiredgentelman, at the bottom of page 1, is an important read due to the difference of the ground on Points and non points models in relation to the Brushes on the Stators.

Look through all the great posts here a page or two back and see how great they have been as of recent.

taking off good quality Hitachi or denso stuff to put on Chinese pma junk seems silly to this guy.
